Mawnan WI’s Flower Arranging Group usually meets on the first Monday of the month and so resolved in this time of lockdown to do their arrangements at home and then to share photographs with the membership.
How lucky they all were to have gardens and fresh spring foliage! Some creations adopted an Easter theme, adding eggs and chicks along with flowers. Lovely arrangements were accomplished thanks to the the advice and skills of instructor Sue Hewitt, who has given everyone who took part the confidence to give it a go.
Mawnan WI is staying connected and is supporting members in different ways and their next stop is to set up some Zoom meetings.
