At Constantine WI’s Annual Meeting earlier this year, it was decided that the time had come to replace the Hall’s 30-year-old felt roof with a more effective covering, as water was causing internal damage.
The necessary £6,850 was raised with the generous support of local groups, individuals and community grants, and the work began in August. At the members’ July meeting, donors were thanked for their help in raising such a daunting amount so quickly.
The Hall is used regularly by local groups and as a venue for parties and similar events. Well done, Constantine!
