Access of Girls/Children to Meetings

WI membership is open to women who have reached the age of majority.

Any girls under that age wishing to attend meetings would need to be accompanied by a responsible adult and in agreement with the membership of that WI.

Sometimes WI members would like to bring young children to meetings, or may need to if they have no other childcare options. It is entirely up to the members of each WI to agree on this policy by a secret ballot, perhaps at their Annual Meeting.

It is incumbent on the parent/guardian to ascertain from a WI Officer (Secretary or President) in advance of each meeting, that the agenda for the evening is appropriate for a child to be in attendance.
