The women of Porthleven WI braved the elements and held their Annual Meeting in the local park this week.
Nineteen members came along, each with a chair and a flask. The sun shone although there was a cold breeze blowing the new sail flag which has generously been donated by a member’s family.
Porthleven WI is looking forward to getting back to regular meetings this year and has booked speakers from July, when they hope to be back in the WI Hall. Their 95th birthday last year had to be postponed but they are all now looking forward to a 96th birthday party in October.
It was a lovely evening and everyone was so pleased to be back together.
