Trustee and former Federation Chairman Margaret Johnson is planning a fabulous Federation stall for the WI marquee at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show – but she needs your help!
She is calling on all crafty WIs and WI members to help support the stall by providing items we can sell, preferably for no more than £5 per item.
Margaret is hoping for all manner of handmade items to adorn the stall – the more imaginative the better. We will be happy with anything – knitted, quilted, patchwork, painted, woodworking, embroidered, ribbonwork, painted pebbles, jewellery, pokerwork, metalwork, etc. She wants to be surprised!
She is also happy to accept silky scarves. We are sure that you all have scarves that were bought for a particular outfit or given to you as gifts which now languish in a cupboard and haven’t been worn for years. Please donate them to Margaret and she promises to turn them into cash for the Federation.
All items can be dropped off at Chy Noweth an Conteth if convenient, or brought to the Chairman’s Coffee Morning, one of the Resolution Roadshow events or any other Federation event.
