The details of the 2020 Huxley Cup for flower arranging have been announced by NFWI, and this time it’s to be held in Exeter – probably the closest it’s ever come to Cornwall!
The competition will take place on 21st-23rd May at the Devon County Show in Exeter. Staging day is 20th May.
The aim of the competition is to find a flower arranger who demonstrates maximum creativity and skill. The competition is be an imposed exhibit; the exhibit theme will be provided to each entrant on the staging day with all materials, sundries and containers. No additional flowers, foliage or accessories will be permitted. Competitors can use as much or as little of the supplied materials as they see fit; it is not required to use all items provided. All entrants will each have identical materials to work with and the same amount of staging time.
