A huge thank you goes out to all who attended Margaret’s Chairman’s Coffee Morning last Friday.
St Issey Village Hall was packed to the rafters with WI members! Members enjoyed coffee/tea and a wonderful array of cakes. Some bought cake to take home as well. Also on offer were a fabulous plant stall, second hand books, a Tombola, a sales table, some fun and games and a fiendishly difficult anagram quiz.
A few members have asked for a copy of the quiz, written by CFWI Board member Jane Dover, so here it is. Click here for the answers (no cheating!). If you weren’t at the Coffee Morning, enjoy the quiz and feel free to use it at your WI.
Again, thank you to all who helped and worked on the day, as well as those who turned out to support the event. The funds we raised will go toward our WI Marquee at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show. Don’t forget to come and see us on the Showgrounds – 6th-8th June!
