The members of Mawnan WI have managed to stay in touch with one another throughout the pandemic by holding virtual meetings and outside events when allowed.
The current restriction to groups of six makes getting together quite a challenge! Realising that having a chat with friends is what many have missed, Mawnan WI’s President has arranged for five members at a time to join her in her garden – that’s quite a lot of coffee mornings!
After months of being unable to see one another in person, everyone was delighted to be able to meet again – even though it’s been necessary to wear extra layers, the sunshine and good company has made life feel a little closer to normal.
