The Lord Lieutenant Col Edward Bolitho, and Bishop Philip of Truro are setting up a celebratory Jubilee parade through Truro on Thursday 2 June. We would love to see a big WI presence in the parade!
The parade will gather for 12.30pm start at St George’s Road, Truro (TR1 3NR). It will process for roughly ¼ mile, arriving at High Cross (in front of Truro Cathedral) for a short all-faiths-and-none service conducted by the Dean of Truro Cathedral, Reverend Roger Bush.
The parade is to serve as the ‘kick-off’ point for the four days of public celebration of 70 years of dedicated service by Her Majesty the Queen.
