Members of Constantine have been writing to men and women in a couple of local care homes. They send a few letters and cards a week each. Most of the members are, for one reason or another, having to stay at home. Liz Pearce says, “My postman takes my letters for me, so I don’t even have to drive to the post office.”
A member of staff at Polventon House emailed Constantine WI to say: “Pease keep writing. It is very much appreciated and you are definitely making a difference with your letters. We may not be out collecting prescriptions or delivering groceries, but to our ladies and gentlemen our letters are just as important. Keep up the good work!!!”
