On Thursday 27th February, Zennor WI members joined forces with the Cornwall Climate Ambassadors to host a coffee morning and sale of pre-loved clothes.
Friends and neighbours gathered to chat over cakes and coffee, and to browse through the beautiful dresses, suits and accessories carefully displayed on racks and tables.
The morning brought in £62 from the delicious home-made cakes, and £118 from the sale of clothes. The money is destined for the CFWI Climate Group, for their climate campaign.
Already this year, the CFWI Climate Group has held a very successful Show the Love event in Marazion, and they have a series of events planned for the summer and autumn. There are also a number of talks booked in with WIs across the County.
