It was the best place to be on a rainy Friday afternoon!
Members from all over the county, including many familiar faces, gathered in Ladock Community Hall last week for the annual Rosebowl Quiz Competition, organised by Activity and Leisure sub-committee.
There were many anxious faces as the results were announced, but congratulations go to Launceston WI Team 2 as winners; second place to Harrowbarrow and Metherell WI; and third place to Pensilva WI.
Thank you to all 23 teams for taking part. We hope to see you at the next quiz in January. Look out for details in November’s County News.
