The CFWI Trustees were all dressed up and ready to greet people!
Nearly 50 WI members attended our Déjeuner en France event yesterday. Chy Noweth was bedecked with French flags, as well as a lit-up Eiffel Tower.
Those attending started with a choice of bouillabaisse or vegetarian French onion soup. That was followed by an array of French dishes, including coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon, quiche, and ratatouille. They ended their meals with crème brûlée, chocolate pots de crème, eclairs and more, and then nibbled on madeleines with their coffee.
The meal was capped by a lively performance by Mr B, a mime artist who works with Swamp Circus.
We had some lovely feedback from the members who came and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
