Walk in the Woods in May

Forest for Cornwall is joining the annual call from The Tree Council to take a walk in our beautiful woodlands in May. This a fantastic time of year to appreciate them as they come into leaf, carpeted with woodland flowers. We have organised four walks across the county during May:

Thursday 12 May – 10am – Kilminorth Woods, West Looe: Join tree expert Ben Norwood for a fascinating stroll through these lovely woods

Friday 13 May – 1pm – Tehidy Woods, Camborne: A guided walk with woodland manager Gavin Henderson and tree officer Nick Cooper.

Thursday 19 May – 2.30pm – Coosebean Woods, Truro: Join country ranger Chris Waddle to explore this woodland restoration project.

Friday 27 May – 2pm – Luxulyan Valley Woods, St. Blazey: Meike Weiser and Jenny Heskett will lead a stroll through beautiful Luxulyan valley.
