The response to the Introduction to Tai Chi event held recently by our Environment & Public Affairs sub-committee was wonderful. In fact, members were so keen to learn tai chi that, in the end, three days of workshops were held at Chy Noweth an Conteth.
Members had a brilliant time learning the Beijing 24 step form. They learned about the history of tai chi and how the 24 step form was developed in 1956 from the long established Yang style tai chi, to enable the Republic of China keep its population healthy.
