Schoolreaders helps to address this problem by finding volunteers to read one-to-one with children in primary schools, at no cost to the school. It costs Schoolreaders an average of just £15 to provide reading support to one child for a whole academic year.
The aim of the Book Club Challenge is for book groups to help raise funds to support Schoolreaders by taking part in a fun quiz all about books and reading.
By taking part in the Book Club Quiz Challenge you will be helping Schoolreaders to reach many more children this year.
There has already been a lot of interest from WI book groups all over the country, so why not have your book group sign up? To do this, simply go to the Schoolreaders website and follow the instructions. You will then be sent a quiz pack and a few small gifts for each member of your book group.
