The West Yorkshire Federation of WIs would like to invite any interested WI members on their holiday in the wonderful county of Yorkshire.
Accommodation is at The Rendezvous Hotel, a family owned spa hotel with a superb location, alongside the Leeds Liverpool canal, and less than a mile from the delightful market town of Skipton, the ‘gateway to the dales’. Luxury coach travel will take you through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, visiting the Wensleydale Creamery where the famous Wensleydale cheese is made and you will have a cheese demonstration at the
Visitor Centre. There will also be a visit to Harewood House, the stately home of the Lascelles family, and which has been used as a location on many occasions for films and television dramas and more recently part of the filming of Downton Abbey and Gentleman Jack. The trip also includes a visit to the historic city of York and the Jorvik Centre. An evening canal boat cruise with dinner is included in the cost of the holiday.
The cost of this coach tour holiday, based on a half board basis, will be £450 per person sharing a twin or double room (a single room supplement of £100 will apply).
