County News

Please note that due to Covid-19, all issues of County News since May 2020 are available in digital format only. You are free to download and print copies for any of your members who may not have internet access – and, of course, any postage costs incurred may be paid from your WI funds.

County News publishes events happening in the CFWI, the National Federation, local WIs and other Federations.

Items for each issue of County News are required by the 12th of the month, 2 months prior to publication date. Information should contain details of the organising sub-committee or member sending the information, day, date, time of the event, venue, cost, contact name and telephone number. Submissions to County News should be emailed to Please note that submissions may be edited for style, content or length.

Inclusion in County News:

  • Two months for sub-committees. The first one containing all the details as listed above and the second, a simpler reminder.
  • For individual WI members, one month
  • Competition entries, three months, with two detailed entries and one reminder  

CFWI publishes County News ten times each year. The three latest editions will be added to this page for download shortly after publication.
