It looks as though the Royal Cornwall Show will definitely be going ahead this June after a long break! We are so happy!
Is your WI planning to enter our Royal Cornwall Show Cup competition? We hope so! The theme this year is ‘A Family Celebration’ so there’s lots of scope for creativity and fun ideas. You can find a a full schedule and application form here – remember, you have to send it in to us by the end of March.
If you don’t fancy working with a group, what about entering one of our individual competitions?
There’s the Barbara Reed Trophy competition which, this year, calls on members to create a keepsake box in any medium. Read the schedule and fill in an application form here.
For those of you who like flower arranging, we have a whole range of floral art competition classes, including one for novices – so don’t be afraid to give it a go! You can read our floral art schedules and find application forms here.

This promises to be a BIG year at the Royal Cornwall Show. If you’d like to help us by volunteering as a steward in the marquee, we’d welcome you! Application forms will be sent to your WI Secretary next week. We are also going to be looking for your homemade craft items to help fill up our Federation Stall in the marquee – a flyer will be with your WI Secretary next week.
