Did you know that Royal Cornwall Show admission will be £19 this year? That’s even more incentive to join the WI team as a volunteer in our marquee at the Show this June!
If you sign up to work a minimum of two 1 ½-hour shifts in the tea area, or two 2-hour shifts as a steward, you will qualify to receive a free pass into the Show on that day. You’ll have time either before, after or between your shifts to have a good wander around the Showground and take in all the sights!
This is a wonderful opportunity to see the Show while helping CFWI at the same time. And you’ll be working with a cheerful team with lots of fun and friendship. This year’s Royal Cornwall Show will be held from Thursday 8 June through Saturday 10 June and volunteers are needed for all three days. Your WI Secretary has the sign-up sheet for volunteers, so please do put your name down!
