Harrowbarrow & Metherell WI members gathered together last week on the hottest day in July.
The meeting was only the second face-to-face meeting this year, and took place in Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall Recreational Area.

Members and prospective members were warmly welcomed by the President Joan Tall. The speaker was WI member Rose Claxton who spoke of her early life in rural Sussex.
Flower of the month was won by Rosalind Redfern with her zantedeschia. Member Jean Rose, who celebrates her 90th birthday this month, was presented with a basket of flowers.
