Beaches and Cream Supports ‘No More Violence Against Women’ Campaign

In November, a group of Beaches and Cream Newquay WI members proudly took part in the Take back the Night march and vigil in Newquay.

Beaches and Cream has been supporting the Cornwall Refuge Trust for more than two years and consider it a cause very dear to their hearts. Every month, members donate toiletries which are then given to the Refuge Trust as they are very well aware of the difficult circumstances at the Refuge that women have encountered before arrival. The members hope that some basic essentials, and sometimes a little pampering, might ease their situation just a little.

At Beaches and Cream Newquay WI’s Christmas meeting last week, members donated an incredible number of Christmas presents for children at the Refuge Trust (in addition to toiletries).
