Members of St Dominick WI welcomed villagers, friends and family to a sumptuous vintage afternoon tea last month, whilst raising an amazing £818 for Cornwall Blood Bikes. The members were pleased that two of the Blood Bikes volunteer riders could join them for tea and brought their bikes with them.

A New Cornish Bard at Connor Downs and Gwithian WI
At the September meeting of Connor Downs and Gwithian WI, Treasurer Sue Dustow was presented with a rose tree by President Jane Mills to congratulate her on being appointed a Bard at the recent Cornish Gorsedh. Her bardic name is Myrgh Arthur which means Arthur’s daughter. Well done, Sue!
