We know how busy you all are during the weeks leading up to Christmas, but we’d like to draw your attention to some January CFWI events you may have overlooked.
The following events have December closing dates but do not currently have many applicants. We would hate to have to cancel them just because members forgot to book. So why not book today and give yourself something lovely to look forward to in that grey month after Christmas and New Year’s?

Retro Lunch – Friday 12 January, 12pm for 12.30pm, at Chy Noweth an Conteth – Can you remember the ’70s? Come to our Retro Lunch and relive the nostalgia. Retro food will be served, and we invite all members to dress appropriately for the event! (Cost: £19 / Closing Date: Friday 15 December)
Winter Talk – Cornwall Bat Group – Wednesday 17 January, 10.30am for 11am-12pm, at Chy Noweth an Conteth – Representatives from the Cornwall Bat Group will be on hand to tell us about bat ecology and behaviour. Coffee/tea and biscuits included. (Cost: £10 / Closing Date: Monday 18 December)
Annual Meetings Made Easy – Thursday 18 January, 7pm-9pm, via Zoom – Your team of WI Advisers will help you with any queries you might have about your upcoming Annual Meeting, giving you some new ideas and helping you make sure things run smoothly on the day, from holding your election for President to preparing your committee report to making sure all your members enjoy the meeting. (Cost: £4.50 per WI, Closing Date: Friday 15 December)
