It took 600 village volunteer hours over a week to help reinstate 600 meters of woodland path in Constantine’s Bosahan Woods. The new path enables a wider range of people in the village to visit the woods without fear of tripping or falling on the badly deteriorated paths. Well done, Constantine WI!

Madron WI held a Suffragette march in October to celebrate their 100th birthday, 100 years since women had the vote and 100 years since the first WI resolution. The Madron group marched through the village with other local WIs; children from Madron School; Councillor Dick Cliffe, the Mayor of Penzance; and Mayoress Mrs Cliffe.

Jacobstow WI celebrated its 80th birthday last week! Members enjoyed a special birthday lunch at The Falcon Hotel on Sunday 28th October and welcomed guests Margaret Johnson, CFWI Chairman; Jane Dover, CFWI Vice-Chairman; and Kathy Reed, their WI Adviser.
