The Cornwall Search & Rescue Team will be holding an Open Day on Sunday 30th June at their base in St Day. It is a drop-in event so you can come any time between 10:30am and 3pm. There will be a free cream tea waiting for you as part of celebrations for ‘National Cream Tea Week’.
You will have a chance to meet the people behind the scenes who support the group through fundraising and PR activities. There will be plenty of opportunity to see and try the equipment, get inside the team vehicles, talk to team members, enter a raffle and there will even be a colouring competition for children.
