On a very wet day, a group from Duloe WI visited the new Emily Hobhouse Museum in St Ive near Liskeard. They were only allowed access to the rectory at that time as The War Rooms were not yet open.
What a wonderful place to have on your doorstep. The members had a very enjoyable day exploring the house and gardens, even dressing up in clothes of the day, followed by South African coffee and cakes. It’s worth a visit especially now the War Rooms are open for visitors.
