For the first time in three years, the Grenville Group, a collection of North Cornwall WIs, met in the Ivor Potter Hall in Bude on Wednesday 11 May.
The meeting was hosted by Bude WI who will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary in November this year. Bude WI President, Carol Sparham, welcomed members from Bude WI, Marhamchurch WI, Morwenstow WI, Jacobstow WI and Week St Mary WI.
As is anticipated at any WI function, entertainment, good food and competitions were included. The overall winner of the competitions was Marhamchurch WI and the photograph shows Carol Sparham presenting the winner’s trophy to Penny Hazeldine.
It was a super evening and everyone was made so welcome…. Thankyou Bude for organising the evening.
