Under normal circumstances, this is the day we would have held our CFWI Spring Countdown at the Regal Theatre in Redruth.
WI members from all over Cornwall would have met to share ideas, meet with old friends and have a laugh. You might have bumped into someone you’d not seen since the last meeting, and given her a big hug while you were standing in the theatre foyer.
That concept seems very alien to us all now.
Large meetings and hugs with friends are a thing of the past.
So, because we can’t meet in person, why not reach out to another WI member today? Perhaps someone you haven’t spoken to or been in touch with for some time. Tell her you would give her a hug if you could – and you will, the next time we can all be together again. Pick up the phone, send an email – just reach out and say hello.
