Being a new WI, Lanivet needed a banner and pennant. Last year one member traced and found the banner from the first Lanivet WI, which was adopted. that left the pennant be created by a small group of volunteers of whom two emerged as makers, Gill Blake embroidery and seamstress, Pauline Salisbury design.The draft design got an enthusiastic “Yes” from the members.
Look out for this minimalist but effective pennant in the WI marquee at the Royal Cornwall Show in June.
