Lezant WI Centenary Celebration Lunch
On a warm and sunny 14th May, Lezant WI enjoyed sharing a salad buffet lunch prepared by our
members for nearly 20 guests. We were pleased to welcome Liz and Margaret as well as Helen (our
Advisor) from CFWI. We were also delighted that Kathy and Pam, our previous Advisors, as well as
several past Presidents and members were able to be with us. We were also joined by several
members of the local community who had helped us in so many ways over so many years.
Delicious though the buffet was, the star of the show was definitely the three (!) cakes made and
decorated by our very gifted member Ann Johns. One of the cakes has been saved so that it can be
part of our final celebration in November when we plant a tree in Trebullett Chapel grounds.
