Porthleven Public Hall was packed for this year’s Porthleven WI Christmas party. The members were delighted to welcome visitors from Helston, Godolphin and Perranuthnoe and District WIs, as well as some new members. There was also a table of ‘helpful husbands’, who were invited along as a thank you for always being on hand to move tables, set up gazebos and generally support the WI.
The Hall was full of fun and laughter as they all enjoyed a performance by the Bryhers Boys, singing a selection of Cornish favourites and Christmas carols.
The tables were groaning under a fabulous spread, a huge buffet donated by members and mulled wine supplied by the committee. What a magnificent way to end the year!
