Remember ‘Bystanders’ can be lifesavers. Doing something is better than doing nothing and every second counts.
There are 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests every year and learning BLS (Basic Life Support) which includes CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and learning the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) can save life.
The adoption of this resolution would see the WI promoting training and better access to defibrillators.
