The listed deadline for booking your space at this year’s Resolution Roadshows may have passed, but it’s not too late. We’ll be taking applications right up until the last minute – and you may want to book a space now that we can announce what will be happening at these sessions!
You’ll see a screening of the film Down the Drain, a beautifully-produced Cornwall Climate Care documentary about Cornwall’s fresh water and the impact of climate change. The film is just over 30 minutes in length.
After that, we’ll have a presentation by a representative of the Westcountry Rivers Trust, who will be speaking about this year’s WI resolution and how their work impacts on it. The presentation will be in person at the Chy Noweth Roadshow on 28 April and will be a pre-recorded presentation at the other venues.
There will also be information provided for delegates to this year’s NFWI Annual Meeting to be held in Cardiff next month.
And, of course, cake!
Not only that, but we have now added a fourth Roadshow, to be held on Zoom. The Zoom session will be held on Thursday 27 April from 7pm until 9pm. To get a link to attend this free session, please contact Yvonne Toms on yvonne@toms.me.uk.
The four Roadshow sessions are:
- Wednesday 26 April – 7pm-9pm – Millennium House, Pensilva
- Thursday 27 April – 10am-12 noon – Connor Downs WI Hall
- Thursday 27 April – 7pm-pm – Zoom
- Friday 28 April – 10am-12 noon – Chy Noweth an Conteth
