Another Royal Cornwall Show is behind us, but what a three days it was!
Our marquee looked absolutely splendid, decorated with pretty bunting. The tea area was slightly larger this year and the ‘open plan’ made the whole place seem bright and airy. We sold loads of wonderful craft items and kitchenalia – did you pick up a bargain?
Although we didn’t get a royal visit this year, one of our stewards, Wendie Leo of Crowlas & Ludgvan WI, happened to bump into Prince Charles while on her break. He asked about her steward’s sash and name badge and she was able to tell him all about the WI!

Thank you CFWI for the photo’s of the RCS and of the winners of the various cups and shields. All of the exhibits were again outstanding, Cornwall ladies are so talented. Personally, I thought the WI marque was looking wonderful again this year. I love the little tweaks you give it each year. So well done all of you. I miss being part of the team at CFWI, hopefully I will be back with you when my little dog is more able to be left at home for longer. Looking forward to 2019 now.
