Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), Little Harbour, is organising a Moonlight Memory Walk on Saturday 11 November 2023 at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
WI members are invited walk in the calm and beauty of Heligan’s lit paths for an uplifting evening where you will join a beautiful memory ceremony followed by a 4K walk in the lit paths of Heligan, with special points along the way to pause and remember.
A special added feature of this event is the Moonlight Memory Walk online dedication page where you can add your loved one’s name, photo, and a personal message.
There is 30% off tickets until 5 September with the registration fee just costing £10.50, to include a T-shirt, goody bag, pasty, medal and entry into Heligan.
By taking part and fundraising in memory of your loved one, you’ll be supporting over 550 children, young people and their families who are supported by CHSW’s three hospices.
Individuals who raise over £100 will be automatically entered into a free prize draw.
More information about the event can be found on the Moonlight Memory Walk website.
CHSW would also welcome WIs who wish to attend one of their upcoming open days on 24 September or 23 October which would give you an opportunity to see the facilities at Little Harbour in Porthpean. These open days run on the third Monday of every month. Alternatively, any CHSW Area fundraisers would happily attend an upcoming WI meeting to talk about the hospice and the memory walk – if you’re interested in booking a speaker, please email Kiley Pearce, CHSW Events Fundraiser, on kiley.pearce@chsw.org.uk.
