This is a big thank you to all the members who attended, supported and worked at our Coffee Morning yesterday.
We held this event in Bodmin at the Shire House Suite on a beautifully sunny day, and the turnout was wonderful! We’re not sure many more WI members could have been squeezed in!
As you all know, this is our main fundraising event to help support our presence at the Royal Cornwall Show. We did very well yesterday, so we thank you for every raffle ticket and piece of cake you bought. Thank you also to those WIs who were unable to attend, but who have sent us donations. We are always happy to accept donations and it’s not too late to do so if you missed out on coming to the Coffee Morning yesterday!
Huge thanks, as well, go to members of Bodmin Gaolbirds WI who were hard at work pouring teas and washing up in the kitchen.
We hope you all enjoyed the day and were able to catch up with other WI members for some good conversation over a delicious piece of cake.
