Tregony WI describes itself as a “growing” group and is now getting more active on social media to try to recruit more members.
At the members’ last meeting, they had a ukulele lesson and at the meeting previous to that they held a cream tea and vintage tractor afternoon at a member’s farm.
In October, the women will be learning fruit carving, and in November it’s snowmen and reindeer made from logs!
Tregony WI meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7.15pm, with meetings advertised on posters around the village and on their Facebook page well in advance to encourage new members.
We’re happy to see such an active WI, and one that is embracing advertising and social media to help grow its numbers!
