What do you do when the Jubilee festivities have passed? Well, Pensilva WI knew what to do: Have another Jubilee party, of course!
Everybody dressed in their best ‘garden party’ outfits, and the fascinators came out of hibernation. A rousing rendition of the National Anthem kicked off proceedings, followed by the usual WI feast. A game or two and a Royal quiz was enjoyed and everybody agreed that it was a lovely social evening whilst at the same time celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Pensilva WI’s July meeting will be held on Wednesday 13 July at 7.15pm in Millennium House, and the guest speaker will be Matt and Shelley from Roly’s Fudge.
