Wilcove WI held a successful garden party last week; it was well attended and the weather was very kind!
Congratulations were given to Wilcove member Ann Maloney who was delighted to be acknowledged as a nonagenarian.
Just before the garden party, Wilcove WI Secretary Wendy Fiander was presented with a certificate of appreciation by President Sue Waldron and members of Wilcove WI’s committee.
Wendy works tirelessly for Wilcove WI. As well as her other duties, the monthly newsletter she produced during lockdown kept the members all going and so they wanted her to know how much they value and appreciate all her efforts! Wendy was also presented with a Cowslip gift voucher.
Committee member Joyce Walsh said, “What a star Wendy is! Wilcove WI is so lucky to have her!”
