Omega is a charity supporting older people, and runs a valuable Chatterbox project, a telephone befriending service.
There are currently have more clients on Omega’s waiting list than they have volunteer befrienders. This is perfectly in line with the WI’s ‘Alleviating Loneliness’ campaign and would be a great WI or individual project.
