We have received the following message from the Alleviate Pain Data Hub: the UK Wide National hub for Chronic Pain (more info can be found here).
September is Pain Awareness Month during which we will be running the 2nd UK National Pain Survey to gather the experiences of those living with chronic pain.
The survey’s target audience is anyone 18 or over, living in the UK and living with chronic pain over the last 12 months (chronic pain being defined as pain which has persisted for at least 3 months).
The survey is adapted from Chronic Pain Australia’s annual survey and is in collaboration with Pain UK and APDP. We ran it in the UK for the first-time last year and received over 600 responses. This year, we are aiming to increase the number of responses and more importantly show the diversity of those living with pain in the UK and we would appreciate your help to achieve this. Would you be willing to share our survey among the members of your organisation?
The survey is now open and will close on the 15th of October 2024. We are using an online survey which is accessible and can be filled in on any device with a web browser. The survey is around 40 multi-choice questions long and should take around 15 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed here https://uod.ac.uk/uk-national-pain-survey-24
(Please note, the WI has no official affiliation with the organisers of this survey).
