A Plea from CFWI Trustee Margaret Johnson

CFWI Trustee and former Federation Chairman Margaret Johnson writes:

I hope you’ve all heard my plea for items to sell on the Federation stall at the Royal Cornwall Show, which is now just 12 weeks away with the intervening weeks slipping quickly away.

I am hoping for all manner of handmade items to adorn the stall – the more imaginative the better – knitted, quilted, patchwork, painted, woodworking, embroidered, ribbon-work, painted pebbles, jewellery, pokerwork, metalwork … surprise me!

I am also happy to accept silky scarves. I am sure you all have scarves that were bought for a particular outfit which now languish in a cupboard and haven’t been worn for some time, so let me have them and I will turn them into cash for the Federation.

All items can be dropped off at the office at Chy Noweth if convenient, taken to one of the Resolution Roadshows or the Chairman’s Coffee Morning or, if all else fails, phone me and I will see what I can do to help.
