Pensilva WI ‘ What is Munro’
At their November meeting, Pensilva WI learnt ‘What is Munro? Gerry Rennie explained that they are mountains in Scotland over 3000ft and her and her husband had climbed them all. Some entailed scrambling over rock not climbing but they achieved their goal.
TREVONE WI CELEBRATE 95 YEARS
Trevone WI celebrate their 95 anniversary in style with a wreath-making session organised by committee member Alison Patel and a cake baked by member Alison Edmonds. Participants brought greenery and decorations to share and produced stunning wreaths. The afternoon was rounded off by the Rene Kershaw cutting the celebration cake oldest member.

Tree planting at St. Stephen Church
On 9th October 2024 Daphne Giles president of St. Stephen-in-Brannel WI, accompanied by a group of WI members planted a crab apple tree in the churchyard of St. Stephen Church. This was to commemorate our late Queen Elizabeth and the coronation of King Charles and replace an Ash tree lost due to Ash die back.
