The December meeting of Coads Green WI was held in the village hall to accommodate the swathes of greenery and the numbers of participants for a festive wreath-making workshop.
President Linda Willan welcomed members and guests, including Wendy Fiander, a Federation Trustee who attended to represent Federation Chair Helen Kestle. Wendy is also Editor of County News.
The workshop was led by members Janet Ham and Anne Parsons, who demonstrated and gave guidance on creating Christmas wreaths which could be used as table centre pieces or equally attractive adornments to display on a door.
The arrangements demonstrated the characters of those who had created them and the results were quite stunning. The evening concluded with mince pies and Christmas biscuits .
