Linda Hallwood of Crantock WI is away from home in Barbados for six weeks and has been missing her WI and wondering what they’ve been doing.
Linda says, “I’m fortunate that I can get away when it’s cold and miserable at home. I have been welcomed by the Barbados art community and I’m in the final stages of preparing for an exhibition of my work. As well as work there is also play and I really enjoy walking on the island as well as snorkelling in the clear blue sea (a similar colour to back home only much, much warmer).”
What a wonderful place for artistic inspiration! We hope Linda brings some of that sunshine back to Cornwall with her.
