Crowlas & Ludgvan WI’s Camera Club Keeps Snapping!

As we emerge from lockdown, it has been good to reflect on what we have achieved. For one thing, members of the Crowlas and Ludgvan WI’s Camera Club have been able to improve their photography skills via weekly challenges. Lisa sets the theme, sometimes a compositional challenge, or a colour theme, or just an inspiration; some along with tutorials, blogs and YouTube videos; and everyone posts their best three photos for the others to comment and vote on.

You can see some of the Camera Club’s favourite ones here and why members liked them: the contrast of the colours in Sue’s wind turbine photo; the great composition looking through a tyre in the woods, taken by Di; the detail of the peeling paint in Ros’s photo of a lock; and the beautiful simplicity of Gail’s black and white rose.

With the Camera Club’s monthly meeting back on in person now, the members can use what they have learned and look back on something positive to have come out of the past year.
