Now that the weather is turning colder, our thoughts are turning to Christmas. We’re sure some of you have already made your Christmas cakes and started making those shopping lists.
Why not book your place on our ‘Decorate a Chocolate Christmas Log’ workshop and create something delicious for your holiday table?
You’ll coat a chocolate Swiss roll with chocolate ganache flavoured with almond or Irish cream liqueur, then make non-wired sugar craft decorations: holly leaves and berries; variegated ivy; hellebores and foliage.
The cake is then presented on a board covered with ganache and packaged in a box covered with cellophane.
The log will keep until Christmas stored in a cool dry place or can be frozen.
You may provide your own chocolate Swiss roll or buy one from the tutor at a cost of £3.
Cost: £15 to include all materials other than the Swiss roll
