In June 2022, Her Majesty the Queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, to mark 70 years on the throne. CFWI invites members to enter a competition to design and make a card which the Federation will send to Her Majesty on behalf of all the WIs in Cornwall to congratulate her on this achievement.
• The card should be no larger than A5 (14.8cm x 21cm), landscape or portrait.
• Any medium can be used but the card must be flat enough to fit neatly into a C5 envelope (16.2cm x 22.9 cm).
• All artwork used should be original.
• The inside of the card may be blank or contain original wording.
• The winning entry will be sent to Her Majesty and so cannot be returned.
Other entries will be displayed at Federation events in 2022 and can then be returned to entrants who have included a stamped self-addressed envelope with their entry. Entry is free and the closing date for entries to be received is Thursday 14 April 2022. The winner will be announced at the Chairman’s Coffee Morning on 6 May.
