First Aid Training for Trevone WI

Twelve members of Trevone WI recently attended an excellent and comprehensive first aid training day, which included both theory and practice as well as employer’s responsibilities.

Working together in groups, the women gained new skills by learning critical life saving procedures and a cardiac defibrillator in emergency situations, as well as treating minor injuries. They completed the course by taking a knowledge and skills test, which enabled them to receive a first aid accreditation which is valid for three years.

Trevone WI reports that it was a really enjoyable and informative session and they thoroughly recommend it to other WIs.

    • Hello, Joan. Thanks for getting in touch. First Aid training is not something that the Federation can arrange for you. Perhaps your first port of call might be contacting Trevone WI to see who they used and how they booked it: secretarytrevonewi@yahoo.com. Further contact details for Trevone’s officers are available in the Year Book (either online or via the hard copy held by your WI). I’m sure they’d be happy to offer advice!
